ADULTERY IS NO SIN
Moralists
and male chauvinists may lower the eye brows and read the complete text before
daring to raise the eyebrows again. During the reading try to stop thinking
like “I already knew you might say only something disgusting like that”. Without
such prejudgements, the message will be clearer.
Adultery
may happen among adults. Children are taught to call it sin. Once the children
become adults, they realise the truth that adultery is a natural gushing of
unsatisfied or suppressed energy that can happen with either sex. It is just
natural as blocking the free running river by a dam. The waters are bound to
rise and gush out of the available openings. This is the natural tendency of
water.
But
there is no sin in this natural diversion of gushing energy. Absolutely.
The
eye brows…Just keep it down. Just keep reading. May raise afterwards.
The
so called civilised society which try to live with single partners for life (at
whatever cost) look down upon adultery. Because it is a threat to their
accepted lifestyle as well as corrupting the children’s minds. This feeling of
the civilised society to the adulterer is also quite understandable. Otherwise
there could have a society of swapping partners looking down upon single
partner societies, if that was better. But such people do not become a society
but a crowd.
Single
partner is healthy and more hygienic. No doubts. With all its shortcomings, the
Hindu style single partner families still command respect. Because there is an
element of sacrifice and discipline in that way of life. Children get more care
and attention. They become better citizens. Other types of any partner or
multiple partners may claim they enjoy life better with no attached strings.
But
even with single partner family societies, adultery may happen. Because the
partners may not be happy with each other at all times. And all fingers are not
the same size and looks. Horses needed for courses. Horses cannot be replaced
with asses and still expect the same result. It is all very complicated to
explain !
The
specific point of discussion is that adultery can happen due to natural reasons
and is not a sin as made out to be. Especially by the priests and religions. Males
see female adultery as more sinful than the same by males. This is purely the
males’ view. Females naturally have similar views but are suppressed by the
males by muscle power and making the females financially dependent. Those
females who can not be controlled under either muscle or money power, are
scared with a religious weapon that ‘adultery is a sin before God’.
This
version of making adultery a sin is what is baseless. Assuming that the God is
the creator who creates bodies, God is used to witnessing how babies are made
and seeing babies being born naked. So God may not get upset when these babies
become adults and lift the clothes for a pee. It is the male’s bearability level
that marks the boundaries and makes rules to suit the average male. Not the
average female, mind you.
Such
rules can be religious or political. Females are game for anything that the
males can handle. No more no less. She can fly with Usain bolt and crawl along
with a lame husband. It is up to the male to declare his capacity to expand or
tolerate. The female actually adjusts to the chosen male’s limitations. But
that does not mean she is limited. She is capable of dancing with the most
complete male (lets say Krishna as an example)
as well as bearing with the lowest male allotted to her. It is thus purely the
male’s capability that decides the activities.
Precisely
because of this reason, the males find it difficult to explain to females why
he wants her movements to be restricted to suit his and still not complain,
even if there are better options around. It is like someone who can afford
only dry bread to the wife, because he
is lazy and hates work, still wants the wife not to see the neighbour feeding
his wife five star meals. At least make a try to give her better meals. She
will still bear with him. But blaming her because she points out the more
caring neighbour is simply immature.
Lets
see it from the female point of view. She is born capable of living with the
best male available. She gets some asshole in the due course. He may not match
the best male in many respects. Still she adjusts with him as much as possible
and shuts her mind to other males even if they are far more desirable. But they
are also humans. If she fails at times due to the incapability of the male,
then why blame her? Introspection is required by the males. Blaming the females
for his own fault is morality?
This
freedom of females, however, the males cannot digest. Even if he is a big
hearted. Trying to scare females that female adultery is more sinful is
childish. If adultery is sin, it is applicable to both sexes equally. As
understood, a dissatisfied partner wishing for an appropriate partner is only
natural. That the small minded males cannot digest this normal tendency is his
limitation.
I
am not advocating adultery. Adulterers need not hail me as the leader.
Adultery
happens because of dissatisfied partners trying to vent energy and thus become
peaceful. This is a biological need and process. Trying to block this natural
tendency by rules will only make the energy trying to escape from another weak
area. What is required is to understand that such things can happen and the
remedy is to make the existing partner attend his lacuna, if any, and rectify
it. If he in his egoistic arrogance still refuses to correct himself, then the
female cannot be held solely responsible for whatever remedial action she might
take to balance herself.
Be
big hearted men. No God is watching who is ditching the partners. These are all
personal choices according to the likes and dislikes of minds. Different minds
have different tastes. The best option is to totally remove all likes and
become a Buddha. If that is not practical, then at least understand that it is
not a crime to have consensual sex between willing partners.
Imagine.
Even rape is accepted by the males. But consensual sex by an ‘owned’ female is
termed as sin. Double standards due to sexual jealousy. It is for the males to
control their jealousy. As the same is almost impractical, males try to blame
the females for all his faults. Is that not the truth?
May
raise the eye brows now, if they can be raised, that is.
Silly
childish people.
