Religions and priests keep people away from prophets and God

This may sound ironic but is the unfortunate truth. This is because the religions can act only managed by priests. The prophet or the founder, on whose behalf these religions are created, may not have any responsibility in what the religions do today. The founder might have said something; the priests would have conveniently interpreted them into what they understood and liked, may be even after the concept or purpose of the lessons / rituals are no longer valid / required in the changed context and time. And all this, the priests blame on the prophet even quoting them out of context if that suits the priests' purpose. The prophet had told so ! So lets do that. He did not object. So lets do that. He objected doing so. But that was on another context and hence lets do so ! This is how the priests function. Welcome to the world  of priests, the twin brother of politicians. Those who can decimate any prophet to their desired size and shape in no time!

But this is only expected from people who turn into priests without understanding what enlightenment is which the prophet or founder attained and proved before public. Enlightenment happens very rarely to human beings. At this moment may be 7 people all over the world may be well and truly enlightened. May be even less. That is one in 100 crore people. Many more will claim that they also know and talk quite similar to the truly enlightened ones and imitate them because they are attracted by the crowd pulling of the enlightened one without any effort. All want to attract the crowd !

But most such claims are fake just trying to promote themselves. The claimant may be a little bit aware of the meditation and imitate the mannerisms that the enlightened ones exhibit. How to test whether one is enlightened or not? There are ways. For one, the enlightened person would be happy and peaceful when all alone. On learning this test method, the fakes would try to pretend as happy and peaceful ! They may pretend a smile when in public. How to watch them when all one? Another is that the enlightened one will be able to love all beings without conscious efforts. Loving becomes his second nature. The fakes may follow suit by pretending love and publishing through his loyal followers !

Lets take the enlightened ones as a case study. They have all reached the same state of being. To be precise they experienced the same state of existence-silence-consciousness at their innermost core. This is a state of no-mind. Experiencing the soul within directly by the soul at the soul without the requirement of body and mind. Aty the soul, the body is forgotten and the mind is no more  forgotten being unreal (not ever lasting but only havng a relative existence compatred to the soul).

Enlightened ones become different from normal people because normal people have minds. Most are trapped by their own minds all by themselves and act smart in that state of imprisonment ! The enlightened one was no super human before the enlightenment happened. But once enlightened, he  / she may be able to do things which appear super natural or magical to the normal people. But that is because that is how the normal people see things about the enlightened ones.

The enlightened ones were similar ‘normal’ persons until they got enlightened. Same desires, same feelings etc like anyone else. Enlightenment happens when the mind is free of desires and attachments by conscious efforts or by accident. Then the mind ceases to exist. The mind is the deciding factor. If there are desires, the mind is likely to get attached to the desiring objects or individuals and move in tandem with them. Once the mind is attached to the world, then it may resist getting separated from the attachments. The mind feels comfortable and safe in company of the desired objects and attached individuals. To such minds, elightenment will be light years away. If the mind free from attachments and there are no more desires, enlightenment may happen any moment !

Thus it is all in the mind. Anyone can reach the state of enlightenment. Most 'postpone' it for tomorrow. And tomorrow never comes as it is. When tomorrow comes it comes as today ! See the irony. The once in a lifetime chance to get enlightened is awaiting your own decision. You only have to drop the desires and attachments in mind. But you will not do exactly that ! And say "Oh ! This is all very tough. I am not a prophet anyway !" Then keep digging own grave ! Remember Naranathu Bhranthan who used to push a heavy stone up a hill all day and once he reached the top, he would push the stone over the cliff and laugh at the absurdity of human effiorts? Has anyone learnt? On the contrary, he is branded as mad ! The enlightened one getting branded as mad is the ultimate joke in this world. That joke meets the grade to make the God smile. The everlasting smile of Krishna consciousness. Other happenings may be just routine boring stuff to God !

The mind and thereby the world desired by the mind, emerges and becomes reality only when there is a desire or attachment in the mind about an object or individual in the world. If there is no desire or attachment, like a new born baby, the mind will be just present like a dew drop. It may not develop desires and attachments unless someone prompts them to or forcibly inculcates. Agree that there would be inborn traits and instincts in mind. But they can be either nipped in the bud or encourage to grow as decided by the adults around the baby. It is all in the hands of the parents and society. It is far easier for the children having undeveloped minds to attain enlightenment than the adults with well developed (read well corrupted) minds.

Then why are the children not getting enlightened and flying to heaven? Simply because the adults (parents and society) do not allow them to get enlightened ! Instead the children are consciously trained to carry the remaining baggage of the connected adults. Children believe it is their duty to bear the burden, and they become historical luggage bearers. Adults think this is normal. Children do not know whether it is not normal. Fresh minds get adulterated by adults ! Another cycle of life is initiated without the knowledge and consent of the child. Who is responsible? The value chain of adult society. The children are their babies.

This has been told a thousand times. But still many fail to understand. In a Malayalam movie, the family mourns when their only son was adopted by an Ashram to be trained as the chief saint. His relationships would break off. The relatives can’t bear it. His future family life is terminated as he has to remain a bachelor. The relatives want him to be another family man like them indicating that becoming an enlightened bachelor saint is not good enough as being a family man ! This is the society’s way of thinking. To the child, it is actually a life time chance to pursue enlightenment with the approval of society.

The society thinks becoming enlightened is actually getting isolated and lonely and denied of earthly pleasures. This is what the so called half wit gurus taught them ! Because they could never reach the enlightenment stage. So to them the world remained attractive and they continued living. They could not totally write off the enlightenment path either as taught by some enlightened one in the past. Therefore to the society, pursuing enlighhtenemnt was dangerous and not a guaranteed success. So lets enjoy the world until the resolve to pursue enlightenment emerges in mind ! By this involvement with world, without applying the intellect, the path to enlightenment will remain dark and blocked. The world would remain fun.

All enlightened ones reached and settled at the same innermost state of existence and happily lived everafter ! Until the enlightenment, they were ordinary people. It is like the water gaining temperature when heated. Until 99 Degrees Celsius, it still looks like water although one can feel the heat difference between ordinary people and pursuer of enlightenment, by feeling them. The temperature is different because the mind is controlled and not allowed to roam free as it likes in other people.

This difference can be seen in ordinary people also. Those who live as they like are not understood or respected by society. The society is those who keep certain controls in mind. They look soft and pleased. The hooligan looks fearsome with raw uncontrolled mind. The family people have more control in their minds and hence higher temperature than the street hooligans. Extrapolating this, the enlightenment prospect goes to the extreme in controlling the mind (it becomes more of understanding the mind as the control progresses) the mind and hence the temperature rises and reaches boiling point. But it still looks like water.

There is a point when the temperature crosses the boiling point and that is when enlightenment happens. The family man can never reach that state as long as he is connected with the attachments and desires. Now lets retrace the story. Where did all this start? The family man, the hooligan and the enlightenment prospect were all together during childhood and were more or less all the same then. The hooligan became so because he left the mind uncontrolled and ended up miserable in the street. The family man managed to control the mind to a certain extent and became civilised. He can understand accept more people. To the hooligan, all others are his competitors ! 

The enlightenment prospect controlled (rather understood) the mind completely and became enlightened. He is thus able to reach the bottom of his mind. Others are still floating to the vagaries of mind. They all were similar until they decided to control / understand the minds. And see where they ended up ! Of course the others end up in between 0-100 degrees. Artists, stars, philosophers, professionals, drivers, beggars, rich, poor; what ever status they are in. This is nothing divine / supernatural / magic / rocket science in this. It is all in the mind ! Modify the mind and see how the world changes around you. Keep the mind as it is and everyone elese would change except this lazy mind which remains like a rock!

Now let’s consider the enlightened person. He is enlightened because his mind has no attachments and desires not because having attachments are desires are patently foolish or unrewarding. Having desires and attachments is definitely fun as we have experienced. But the enlightened one realises the folly of holding on to the experiences and mind rather than experiencing and letting go. It is a heartfelt open admission to oneself that even the body is perishable sooner or later and hence there is no real point in pursuing the desires in mind as they are also not permanent, which can be held on to for ever. This realisation makes the mind confused, as all the sensible guys around are happily chasing the desires and living happily. OK. It may not be all happiness all the time. But there are indeed moments of happiness while living. So why abandon them and sit alone like stupid?

This can be understood only after the major driving desires in mind are somewhat run its course / dealt with. A poor person may not be able to listen to the inner voice but chase the wealth with all his resources as the external world lures him or the rich ones rub it in to make him join the race ! Similarly a starved person would do everything to realise his desires. Enlightenment is a meaningless word for them. So let’s leave them for now. They live insignificant lives, almost like animals. And by comaring them to animals, no degrading is intended. They live in the same level as animals by living as per the instincts and not by discrimination. That is all.

Let’s consider those who have realised wealth and had a fair share of experiences that are normally desired. It is now easier for them to understand enlightenment. Because after making wealth, they realise that they only claim ownership of wealth, they cannot grab and possess wealth for ever. Soon ‘his’ wealth would be owned by or transferred to someone else. Lawfully or not. Even if one is able to keep all wealth until death, death is definitely coming up round the corner !

When we die where do we take the possessions and experiences to? Most know this logic. But to understand the logic, to allow the logic to enter and conquer the psyche, a certain maturity and experience would be required. That is the beginning of spirituality.

Some reach there faster. Some slower. But there is no escape from enlightenment for any one ! Including that careless hooligan. It is a matter of refinement of mind. The hooligan may take many lives or may just make a U turn and reach there next week ! The family man may take his entire life. But enlightenment simply cannot be avoided ! This may be just opposite of what the priests think that enlightenment like the prophet had is tough to attain. They say what is there in their mind. We are talking about a state of no-mind where the enlightenment happens. This is what the enlightened soul showed us as possible.

The priests would say getting enlightenment like the prophet is not possible for anyone else. This is wrong. Enlightenment is just a moment away from all. One has to know how to reach there for sure. That is all. The prophet had showed one way. So follow his way. But the priests say that way cannot be followed by anyone else ! Instead they suggest another way which is to pray to the prophet and continue life. By continuing life one can not get enlightened. Praying to the prophet is absurd logic. The enlightened prophet would never ask to pray to anyone else. If anyone says so, then he is simply not enlightened. Case closed !

I hope the point is clear. This is how the priests misguide people so that they always remain fearful and confused. Priests are scared of enlightened prophets in general and the almighty God in particular ! Because they are hand n glove, dangerous and reportedly have magical powers ! But priests are quite comfortable with fearful people who can be manipulated and who donot have magical powers ! This is the working principle of religions.

We are lucky that at least a few enlightened ones have already happened. So there is nothing new to search for like Buddha did. The highway is clear now. So what is that way?

To realise that there is more mystery in life than we take for granted as ordinary life. A beggar thinks he is poor by believing in the situation he is in. His status can change if he becomes rich. So he tries to get money. Any amount will not satisfy him. Thus we can see beggars’ habits even among billionaires ! Meanwhile an enlightened one realises that his self is actually the owner, chairman, producer and managing director of the whole universe hence he feels like a trillionnaire ! That is the difference.

So several otherwise normal people managed to understand the mind completely and reached the bottom of their own very minds. At the bottom of the minds, there is an ever radiating power source which they named as the Soul, Atma, God, Allah, Yahova, Holy spirit, eternal life, paradise, existence, consciousness, bliss etc. All have agreed that it is simply beyond description as there is nothing comparable and it is all inclusive, all knowing, all powerful and all pervasive. Indian Rishis added a further dimension of ‘fun loving’ to even ‘naughty’ nature of this ‘God’ and is expressed in the stories of Krishna. From the holy books (so called by people; actually they are science books explaining the status of enlightenment) written by the enlightened ones, this existence at the bottom of minds simply cannot be explained but needs to be experienced to believe it. The enlightened ones merged themselves with that existence and became the existence when the mind and attached world dropped off. They can only show the path and explain the experience within the limitations of the language. It is up to the people to follow the path and experience what the enlightened ones were hinting at.  

If the holy books are analysed, irrespective of religions and who wrote them, the one thing that is common in all of them is the description of some enlightened master on the state of no-mind. Most enlightened ones have either described the path they took to the core so that others could also understand and follow. Or they have just confirmed that the path shown by the predecessors was correct.

None wanted any followers to chant his name in chorus or make publicity as a mark of victory like the politicians do ! If any enlightened one did so, it would have been for a definite purpose than self promotion. Because enlightenment is experienced when the self (ego) is no more. Hence there is no question whatsoever of someone becoming enlightened with a trace of ego. Those who have the ego, even in a miniscule form, simply do not get enlightened.

The drama begins after the death of the enlightened one. Most enlightened ones have not kept any followers or asked them to do something extraordinary than living their lives in a responsible disciplined way without hurting others and be alert on the happenings in mind. Because the other is none other than another prospective enlightenment candidate today or tomorrow and not just sheep! If any enlightened soul did ask people to do something, it would have been only to deal with a situation prevailing at that time. Once the problem was rectified there may be no more need to continue the practice.

But this is where the lazy opportunists jump in; especially when a particular way of life as directed by the enlightened one is convenient to the opportunists. They become adamant and refuse to modify the lifestyle even if they know there is no more need to continue. But if it suited some people, they refuse to let go of it. And they cite the enlightened one for the same. This is their trick. The enlightened one is no more there to confirm. None really wants to offend the enlightened one. If someone suggests to take opinion of other enlightened ones, the fanatics stand firm. No foreigners please ! This is an internal issue ! What is internal? Who is a foreigner? Enlightenment is an open secret for all humanity. The prophets discloed the secret to the humanity. The priests claim ownership of the prophet as their own property !

See the irony ! the prophets indicated that the inner core s the same for everyone including animals, plants and humans. There are no foreigners in their vision. Once they are dead, religions are founded after them and the priests jump in and claim that the prophet belongs to that religion only ! Those who believe in our prophet may join and stregthen the hands of the priests to thwart foreigners and other prophets and enlightened ones. Lets promote our prophet !

These are the people who refuse to learn and create tension and venom by being adamant. Several lives are affected. But they refuse to budge. If they budge, the illegal conveniences, that they enjoy now under the guise of some instruction by the enlightened one made at some point of time which has no relevance whatsoever with today, will have to be forfeited. They are used to and got addicted to the loophole.  Why and how to let go off it? Firstly they are unable to let go because they are habituated and addicted to it. Then there is the instruction from the enlightened one even if it was on another context !  If it suits them they uphold the instruction.

The same enlightened one might have said several other things also to follow which the priests might have found inconvenient. So they were only followed namesake and buried along with the enlightened one. The prophet was simple, straight forward, selfless and  innocent. That is how he got enlightened. The priests are calculating cunning and selfish to encash the name of the prophet to their advantage.

And there lies all the vicious circles created by the religions to divde people, forget the path showed by the enlightened prophet and keeping people as they are for ever to milk.

This is like teaching monkeys to meditate. Monkeys are naturally restless. Meditation is not their nature.

This is the common man. He has become a pleasure addict. Prophet or founder or enlightenment is no issue to him. His real concern is his sensory pleasures. Even if God incarnates and tells him to abstain from pleasures, he may not obey. Because he cannot. His mind is strongly addicted to the pleasures. He would use all strengths to realise his desires.

If the instruction of the enlightened one is suitable to him he would accept. If not he would dodge and follow for namesake until the enlightened one dies and then interpret the instruction to suit his ways. Man is really clever. He wants to keep the good experiences and shun the miseries. He is looking for a way to have all good experiences in tact and no miseries at all ! See the greed and lack of intelligence ! One cannot control experiences. It will be both good and bad according to how his mind interprets it. The enlightened one left all the experiences, good and bad. Man thinks the enlightened one is actually slightly stupid having left the juicy experiences which could have been enjoyed after bearing with some unpleasant ones as he does! But he may not say that openly as others shout him down !

So most people follow the mind and experiences. Religions preside over the experiencing people and tell them to be moderate in experiencing otherwise they are doing just fine. Is a religion required for this purpose? Religions are expected to show the path to enlightenment as showed by the Master one on whose behalf the religion was founded and guide people accordingly. But they end up with priests who never experienced enlightenment. They divide people into various groups on behalf of the enlightened ones !

What a farce indeed !

All the enlightened ones had reached the same state. Now there are various groups of followers all directed by the religions all doing different things as religious rituals but living life like the same as anyone else. Basically they are all the same people. By doing religious rituals differently, no tiger could change the stripes ! Religions thus becomes like political parties.  “Our founder Zindabad” is the slogan invented by the priests. People follow suit. They would follow anyone who will not ask them to let go off the experiences. The enlightened one did let go off the world. In fact he had became enlightened that way ! Here the priests are acting on the enlightened one’s behalf and advise people to hold on to the world rather than letting go off it like the prophet did !! The enlightened one taught people to look into oneself and meditate to reach the status he reached. The priests look out and pray to the enlightened one !

With this lifestyle, no one is going to get enlightened anytime soon. The enlightened one’s message is to be heard again and that only has to be followed. Not the versions of the priests which will lead to pit falls from where getting out will be difficult. Priests are opportunists and as ignorant as the others about enlightenment and how to attain that state. 

So if anyone is seriously after enlightenment, follow the truly enlightened ones. Any enlightened one will do as guidance. Because the paths are all the same. All lead to the same core. All roads lead to home !

The paths the enlightened ones have taken may be different. But they basically are the same in principle all over the world. That is to remove the attachments and desires from one’s own mind. That is the simple straight way the enlightened ones took. So that is the way to follow. It is tough no doubt. But not impossible as the enlightened ones showed.

If some priests claim that praying to an enlightened one heals miraculously, simply do not believe him. He is either making you a fool or just earning his living or both. Such miracles happen everyday and has nothing (whatsoever) to do with a particular enlightened soul ! Miracle healing is not the aim. The aim is enlightenment. The way for that is to analyse and refine the mind after going through the experiences. If the mind likes certain experiences only, apply the intellect and get out of that experience. A habit is getting formed which will ultimately wrap one up and squeeze to death or make one spend all time and energy chasing that experience over and over until death like a grinding stone.

One can respect all enlightened ones as lighthouses to the destination. None to be spared ! It is the way God reveals its location, presence and qualities to the world over time and location. Several people have become enlightened so far. Some were tough disciplinarians and difficult to follow. Some were mild. Naturally the mild enlightened one had more followers ! It does not mean that other enlightened ones were someway inferior than the ones having more followers. The number of followers is actually misleading. More follow what is more convenient and easy. Less follow those who are disciplined and strict. It is the human weakness to follow easier lifestyle. But that need not lead to enlightenment. It will be an easy life under the cover of religion by misinterpretting the prophet to the convenience of a few. These people who misinterpret the prophet thinks they are clever. But God is not as stupid as they like to imagine. Enlightened one with maximum followers is not superior than the other enlightened ones even without a single follower. More followers indicate only the people’s preference. All enlightened ones are in the same state. The same status. People are made to choose among the enlightened prophets by the conniving priests who have hideous plans in mind unlike the prophet himself. 

If the priests say that a particular enlightened one is the only way, then he is making everyone stupid including himself. Because enlightenment has nothing to do with individual preferences. It is a state of no-mid which any one can reach. More popular enlightened ones are actually a reflection of the followers preference and not the speciality of the enlightened one. People do what suits them most. By doing so they may end up cheating themselves and live like animals. The enlightened ones are not responsible for the interpretations made by his followers on his behalf for their convenience. In fact that is the difference between enlightened ones and normal people. People go by their mind and conveniently blame others for the slip ups.

Thus the enlightened one showed all humanity a special status of existence. The religions are priests are blocking people from following the path showed by the enlightened one and reaching that status themselves. Instead of doing what the enlightened one did for getting enlightenment, the religions managed by priests interpret that what the enlightened one did was actually slightly stupid and unnecessary and there is no need to emulate his way. Rather follow the priests themselves and live practical life !

Enlightenment by the prophet was an accident !
