SPIRITUALITY AND RELIGIONS
Is spirituality the product of religions ?
Religions claim so, but it is not. Reason ? Religions are managed by ordinary males as priests who do not know what spirituality is.
Religions are founded after spiritual giants who could see humanity as one. Fair enough. But thereafter, religions simply get downgraded to the standards of the managing priests, who are males with weaknesses but pretend otherwise to impress gullible followers during day light. Thus religions become socio political organizations to carry out the interests of the Politicians in connivance with the Priests.
Priests and Politicians are simply defending the rich, the minority who hoard wealth and keep the majority on the leather hunt, away from the rich. The poor are never taught that the resources on Earth belongs to all. Thus politicians and priests end up as surreptitious soldiers of the rich, taking their alms and keeping the poor out making them think that the penury is due to their own faults.
Unbelievable ?
Spirituality has nothing to do with religion, any religion. It is an inner personal experience available to those who are honest, true to themselves, kind and compassionate. Religions promote faith and rituals each 'slightly' different from the other just to look different. Most religions are after women and adultery laws against her. Because the males are afraid of free, independent women choosing their mates and speaking their minds.
This is what religions religiously do !

Because this is what the priests are after. Make rules against sex and wait like a spider in the middle for someone to err ! Then the Priests jump in and decide on the guilty, which invariably would be the woman ! Then what ? The male pays a fine and is free to sin again ! The woman is branded for life.
I repeat. There is no spirituality in religions managed by these priests who have funny ideas about sex.
In fact Religions, read priests, spiritually castrate the believers in order to make them sheep to milk and follow as a herd without asking inconvenient questions.
If a religion is truly religious, then they should teach what their role model (lets say Jesus) stood for. Jesus is an awakened state of human from where he could see all humans with the same eye, male and female, but still identify himself not with them but with an inner deeper consciousness. So Pope and Company should teach what Jesus consciousness is and how to become like Jesus, sacrificing for the others. Right?
But what really happens is the clergy would try to convert more from other religions to increase the numbers so that the clergy can live comfortably off the sweat of the people. Jesus consciousness ? Does at least the Pope know what Jesus consciousness is ?
Take any spiritual giant after whom religions are found. Be it Buddha, Mohammed or Jesus, or whoever. Forget the priests for a while and just look at these great souls. They look amazingly similar. Their minds are almost the same ! If they ever meet, they may just hug one another ! Because they have love and kindness at heart. Now this love and kindness is what religions should ideally teach. then all religions become the proponents of kindness and Love. The priests, in their practical wisdom, teach the followers to remain a a group and challenge the other believers in other religions. Can any priest see the whole humanity as one ? If he does, he becomes another spiritual giant Another religion may start after him by another set of priests. It is a spiral going only downstairs.
Religions fail to kindle spirituality in humans. If the religions serve some useful purpose as social discipline and togetherness, that is good. At least it gives some general guideline on how to live. Beyond that, religions, again read priests, cannot lead others to spirituality. Why ? Because what the priests know only they can inculcate. What Jesus has, he can inculcate. What Pope knows about Jesus is what Pope can inculcate.
But Jesus cannot be replaced by the Priests who exhort after him to lure followers.
Recently a priest declared that it was 'his' Jesus who created water and Oxygen !
Similarly Islam (read priests again) may claim believing in their religion may avail flight tickets to heaven after death. Once the jackass swallows this information, everything else appear as foolishness to him.
Now inject a small doze that whoever lives other wise are to be converted or eliminated. Eliminating non believers earn virgins in heaven is the last ploy ! The small wit believers soon become terrorists looking to eliminate the non believers so that he can enjoy life after death in heaven and also with the satisfaction that he has saved someone from rotting in other religions to the true path ! Two birds with one shot ! LOL !
Recently a terrorist was caught with explosives. His penis was kept in a metal pipe. On query he replied that he would die in the explosion. But he wanted the organ to be safe so that after death, he can enjoy virgins in heaven as reward from God for killing the infidels ! Where is spirituality in this ? It is lust and greed. Not kindness and love.
Is it required to be in some religion to understand Jesus, Mohammed or Buddha ?
Essentially all spoke the same language of love and kindness. Such a state is possible for anyone, if they become more compassionate and less selfish. At absolute selflessness, one feels absolute love and bliss. This is spirituality as taught by all the spiritual giants. Does it require a religion to practice selflessness? Absolutely not. Anyone can try it at home. The priests do not want people to be selfless beyond a limit that they can 'tolerate' ! And that exactly is the reason why religions never create spiritual giants. What the cunning priests can tolerate is only what they allow the followers to grow thus making people smaller beings than the priests themselves !
Forget about these Priests leading people to higher spiritual levels than the priests themselves.
