Jesus claimed himself as the 'only' begotten son of God.
Buddha claimed himself to be the "most completely enlightened human ever!"
Mahavira claimed himself to be the 'last' Thirthankara.
Mohammed claimed himself to be the 'last' Prophet !
More in that book. One would laugh until the stomach pains.
Why these claims ? Especially from the 'biggest' humans ever walked on Earth ?
Well, it simply shows these great souls were also human not fully free from the self trumpeting nature, ego, arrogance and one-upmanship.
That is precisely the difference between a truly divine person and a 'knowing' person trying to throw the weight around to impress the gallery.
Invariably these pretenders fail. At least that pretension part of them would fail.
Humanity would wonder, smile at the silliness of these biggies and move on with a chuckle !

Salim Mohammed Hussain Jesus never claimed so... its done by his followers. ..a great mistake..prophet Muhammad sallallahualaihivasallam claimed that he is the last prophet ...true ...can u prove he is not the last prophet? Its says in Bible and hidu religious scriptuers...

What is the authority of Mohammed to claim he was a prophet ? Quran says so ! Who wrote Quran ? Mohammed himself ! Now Mohammed owuld say he is the last prophet. What is the evidence ? Quran says so. Who wrote Quran ? Mohammed himself ! Now there is no way to disbelieve Quran ! And Quran says Mohammed is the last prophet. Who wrote it ? Mohammed himself ! This is called circuitous argument. To those who believe, there is no logic required. For the rest, this argument appears round about.
