HOW GOD ACTS
Arjun and Krishna went for a walk. They reached a rich man's house by lunch. Until the wedding ceremony was over, they did not get food. Arjun was upset.
Krishna smiled and blessed the rich man "May your generations live in richness". Arjun was more upset !
They continued walking. Reached a hut by evening. They were thirsty now. An old man was collecting grass for an old cow. He gave them the last glasses of butter milk that he had.
Arjun was pleased ! Krishna smiled. On the way out Krishna whispered with a smile. "Let the cow die !" The cow suddenly rolled over and breathed its last.
Arjun was upset again. He asked Krishna.
"Mysterious are your ways, Lord Krishna. In your place I would have cursed the rich man to penury for keeping me waiting hungry"
Krishna smiled again. "And then ?"
Arjun said.
"Then I would have built the old man a palace full of cows for selflessly parting with his only remaining butter milk"
Krishna explained.
"The rich man is away from my heart. I blessed him because he would stay away from me for generations enjoying the richness and not knowing what he lost, ever. That is the pleasure of being with me"
Arjun said "OK. But why did you kill the only cow that the poor man had? How would he survive without it ?"
Krishna said
" The cow was the old man's only attachment on Earth. He was living just to protect the cow. Once the cow is dead, he would detach the mind and reach me straight"
Almighty's ways are mysterious. the baddie may be allowed to grow to the size of a palm tree before it is axed. Then the fall would hurt maximum !
Watch out. Smarter brother is watching you.
