ISLAM AND WOMEN
In Islam, these are attempts by the males to accommodate women, like true gentlemen. But there is no equal treatment at all for women. Only attempts to keep the male upper hand.
Other religions also had this problem. How to tame women and make her look stupid or shy so that the males can keep a straight face of an owner or victor ! The church even burned alive intelligent women who knew too much as witches. In Hinduism also, the male arrogance and exploitation of women have happened. But Christians moved past sex very fast. Hindus are cautious but definitely moving ahead.
Only Islam could not go past women.
Why ? Because the prophet could not do that. So the attempt by males to keep women with no human rights under the thumb hiding behind Nabi and Quran will end up only in debates with no end. The good males try to explain (quite well) based on Nabi verses and Quran, the status of women in Islam. But most are skeptical hiding in the dark, awaiting to strike down those who disagree !
A few exceptions may be there. But Islam, in general., treats women as sex objects (body with no soul) and not as another person who can do almost everything that the males can do. But the possessiveness, ego and sexual jealousy of the males make it impossible to give freedom to women. That is the plain truth.
In short Islam is trapped in sex. Simply because they follow the wrong example in sex. Teenaged boys brow beating adult women is a sorry sight indeed. Treating women based on their body alone itself is the problem. Women also have a mind and a soul. All beings take birth to blossom, grow to the maximum potential. and live like kings and queens.
Not as neurotics who are ashamed of the body.
What ever the Islam males posture, from true gentlemen to Taliban, they are actually scared about giving freedom to women. If Muslim women are allowed to speak their mind, these males would run for cover. If any Muslim male is feeling anger towards me, that is the evidence of what I am trying to say It is not easy to get out of sex. But there are ways. Not by enslaving females, though. Do not be angry with me. I am only telling the truth.
Julian Assange of Wikileaks was booked under two interesting charges. The first was that he did not use a condom while copulating a sex worker ! The second was even better. This time, the condom used was substandard and was torn during the act ! LOL ! Reminds of the flimsy arguments the church used to frame Osho, as there was no credible charge possible against him.
Human history is full of such shameful double standards by arrogant males in power.
Analyze the charges against Assange once again. And realise the protection available to even the sex workers in developed countries. That is the kind of human rights and equality in sex available to women.
Islam and Quran are biased against women treating them as just sensuous bodies for the pleasure of the males. Women are not just bodies, dear brothers ! They also have minds and souls just like males. Islam denies the growth of mind ad soul of women is the plain clearly visible truth. However much Islam pandits try to sugarcoat the same.
In Islamic debates, most keep off. Not because they agree with Islam or do not have any opinion. But because there is a mechanism in Islam to eliminate those who expose them, even if what he says is true ! So even those who participate in such debates are under fake ids. Women keep off fr the fear of physical assault. So what are we talking about ? Watch debates in developed countries. Males and females participate as equals. Express themselves freely. In Islam, if anything is spoken against Nabi or Quran, death threat is issued !
Thus, Salman Rushdie, Tasleema Nasreen or Malala Usafai are also messengers from the same Allah when something which is not acceptable at all is expressed through many faces. Such truth speakers and corrective voices will keep coming. This cannot be stopped by threats or punishments.
In fact, those who issue such threats to Truth Sayers are the real problem ! They think they are only right ! And that precisely is the problem too ! How interesting....
